Zum Grunen Tal in Hosbach

Ordered a "Grünes Tal" burger and a veggie burger yesterday. The burgers are exceptionally tasty, large, and of high quality! Even fries and wedges were still warm and delicious despite the delivery! We'd be happy to come by in person after the lockdown. There is enough choice on the menu, even for vegetarians! We also find it positive that the packaging was largely made of cardboard.

We ordered there for the second time yesterday and were extremely satisfied. This time there was a burger with fries and a salad. The burgers were just amazing and are unrivaled in taste, size and quality here in the region. The meat was the best I've ever had on a burger. In short: the PERFECT burger! The salad with the freshly fried champions was really good too. We also noticed very positively that the packaging is largely made of recycled cardboard. That should be the case in all restaurants. We look forward to finally having a seat in the Green Valley after the lockdown!

When trying to order by phone, nobody answers. The order via Lieferando.de was not even accepted. 👎

Super delicious leg of goose and roast goose were delivered with dumplings, red cabbage, baked apples and sauce! That was a really delicious Sunday feast, highly recommended, great!

When ordering a pick-up (5 dishes) by phone yesterday, I was surprised by a very unfriendly woman. I was told directly on the phone that I should call again later, you don't have time now. When I asked that you could take the order and it would not be a problem that it would take longer, you did not receive it. Apparently no new customers are needed here. To be honest, this has never happened to me. We will not order anything more here !!

The meat dishes in particular are highly recommended, as everything comes in top quality and fresh from the in-house butcher shop. The service was very attentive, friendly and warm! If you come on Sunday noon, you should be able to wait 1.5 hours for your meal. Apparently you are a little overwhelmed in the kitchen when the whole economy is full. It's okay and understandable if it takes longer. However, you should also say that to the guests. Nobody likes to wait 1.5 hours without information. Even at the neighboring tables people were visibly in a bad mood. The new landlord should have a little more sensitivity to something like this and should let you know in between. An espresso on the house can also be an excuse. But of course there wasn't that either. With food: The Wiener Schnitzel was not a highlight, it was simply standard. The salad was good. Too bad that the long waiting time without excuse made the whole visit so bad.

Excellent food !! Can't remember when or if I've ever had such delicious food. Burgers just great. Comfortably furnished. However, I did not find the staff particularly friendly, there is no greeting, let alone a goodbye. And we had to wait a good 1 hour for the food - it was definitely too long.

Are totally at Christmas Koch tried to reinvent the wheel. Map was really tasty to read, but then came the reality of Rumsteack hard dry and fried. The Wiener Schnitzel tasted of old cow. The lamb's lettuce on raspberry dressing sounded exciting and fruity with a little acidity, in reality it was bland, without spice and tastelessly boring. The homemade tortellini on truffle had 3 lint of truffle in terms of taste, nothing came over there. Just dough in the mouth that became more and more. In my opinion it was the biggest letdown in gastronomy in recent times. The only positive thing I can mention is the service, nice competent friendly and reliable. Only because of this 2 stars, about the kitchen and the much too high prices, I was annoyed (40% above the local average) at 20% I didn't say anything because it was Christmas. But that was violent. Summa Summarum, we won't be back.

We were with a larger company in the economy and did not even know the location. Whether service (fast, very friendly and hard-working!), Waiting time, interior decoration, drinks or food: it was really wonderful. We have long felt in any restaurant or in any restaurant so well. Among other things, there was steak, salmon and stag goulash. Everyone was more than satisfied. The steak was among the best I had on the plate for a long time: crispy on the outside, gorgeous medium rare on the inside and just fantastic in taste. Price performance ratio is absolutely right here !! We will definitely be back!
